My jewelry tells alternative stories about beauty, as I don’t seek beauty in perfection.

A Story in White Collection tells stories about change and growth, about new beginnings, about the transmutation of Fear into Hope.

After all the fears, the uncertainty… I felt the need to look for peace and calm, comfort and hope, less noise and less color. So I kept simplifying till I reached the purity of white.

I used the contrast between the humble yet incredible paper, next to gold leaf and pearls, to symbolize the transmutation, the change that comes from within.

I used white for it’s meaning of purity, innocence, wholeness and completion. As a symbol of new beginnings, it is the blank canvas waiting to be written upon. It offers an inner cleansing and purifying of thoughts, emotions and spirit, allowing us to put the past behind us and find the courage to move on.

Hope rescues us from the dark.

Experience

Profile:
I’m an architect by formation and a self-taught jewelry designer, with a passion for color, texture and fluid, organic shapes.

I started making jewelry in 2009, when I was still in college studding architecture, experimenting with various materials and techniques, searching, improving and slowly growing.

Only recently I’ve been taking Jewelry making more seriously, as I realized I can’t express everything I feel and believe in, with my architectural projects.
Here I have the true creative freedom, with my imagination being the only limit.

Education:
-2006-2012: G.M. Cantacuzino Faculty of Architecture- Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi- Bachelor / Master Degree in Architecture- Iasi, Romania
-2010: Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage de Lille, France

-2009- Present: In 2009 I began creating jewelry, experimenting with various materials
-2012- Present: working as an architect
